¿Is there an overflight authorization for Mexico?

Overflight authorizations are not required in Mexico, however, navigation fees must be paid to SENEAM.

In case of having a debt, SENEAM has the authority to block the entry to the Mexican air space, denying entry until payment and reporting are made.

There are pre-calculated distances based on the most used routes and have been published on the Official Gazette of the federation.

All overflights should be reported to SENEAM during the first 5 to 10 business days of every month, informing the flight operations of the last period. Reports should include a full itinerary, with the date and time of the operation, entry point, and exit of the Mexican FIR (including aircrafts in the fleet). After this, SENEAM will share the corresponding billing information that can be reported through Real Alfa Flight, once received, a budget will be made, then we will proceed to pay using our Mexican account.

These payments can be paid through a Mexican bank account only. We can assist you with the payment of the navigation fees with a service charge.

And a coordination fee for SENEAM Overflights and representation per aircraft.

In the case of a fleet, you may share the number of tails to manage, and we will provide a Management Fee with a better and competitive price per aircraft.

All of our team will be pleased to assist you at any time.
